Official Opening
On Firday 7th May the Jumbulla Aboriginal Discovery Centre was officially opened by the Federal Minister for Tourism - Martin Ferguson. It was well attended by many people that have been involved with Jumbulla Aboriginal Discovery Centre from the beginning. It was fantastic to see all these people.





Reconciliation Week
Reconciliation week is from Thursday 27 to Thursday 3 June 2010. The week marks two important dates – the anniversary of the 1967 referendum (27th May 1967) and the anniversary of the Mabo land rights decision (3rd June 1992). At Jumbulla Aboriginal Discovery Centre, we will be supporting recociliation by 2 activities.Sat 29th – Sun 30th May
Saturday and Sunday will be a time for Indigenous and Non Indigenous people to come to jumbulla

11.45am Art – help us to create a masterpiece on
canvas
12.00pm Bush Skills – Our Tools/Equipment
Music – Didgeridoo & Corroboree
1.00pm Jumbulla stories which include
Land, Family & Togetherness
2.00pm Conclusion

Friday 4th June - Reconciliation Dinner

Dinner and Show - Meet at Jumbulla for a show then proceed to restaurant for dinner
Time: 6pm Cost: $80
Dinner ONLY - meet a Altitude 1148 for dinner
Time: 6.45pm for Dinner at 7pm Cost: $65
Dinner will be a 3 course (multiply selection). Auction of Art works and other items; speeches by local Indigenous and Non Indigenous people.
